The Lebedev Modular Pistol (MPL) is a family of pistols designed by Dmitry Lebedev for Kalashnikov Concern . The pistol was developed with input from law enforcement officers and practical shooting (IPSC) athletes, ensuring excellent ergonomics and ease of use .

The MPL is replacing the Yarygin pistol (PYa) and is being adopted by the Ministry of Defense, internal troops, and the Russian National Guard . In 2023, initial contractual deliveries commenced .
