Udav Pistol (6P72)

The 9mm Udav self-loading pistol (GRAU index 6P72) is the latest development from TsNIITochMash . The pistol successfully completed state trials in 2018, passed operational evaluation in 2019, and was recommended for adoption by the Russian military . In 2023, the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant began serial production . The Udav is intended to replace the aging PM and PYa pistols in Russian military and special forces service .
